Mona Patel, Human Factors International

Presentation: Healthcare and the Internet: How To Truly Understand and Influence the Customer Experience

Mona Patel is Executive Director of Human Factors International (HFI), managing the New York office. Her nine years in the usability field has focused on understanding and choreographing user experiences for all types of interfaces, including websites, web applications, software, voice interfaces and medical devices.

Mona’s passion is delving into the thinking and behavior of consumers, and using that insight to drive a strategy that meets an organization’s business goals. Very practical by nature, Mona also specializes in helping clients incorporate usability practices into their day-to-day processes. Recently, her work has concentrated in the financial and healthcare sectors.

Mona is a frequent presenter of innovative topics in both local and national usability conferences and is one of HFI’s highest rated instructors. She holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication, with a focus in Advertising and Marketing from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Tufts University.
